Secondary:

  • Press & Media

OPPORTUNITIES & CHALLENGES

  • Landing Experience: AWS has requested an engaging “front page, magazine style” experience to be helpful for upfront engagement for all audiences.
  • Targeted Homepage: The content on the homepage should be targeted to the specific viewer, personalizing it toward their interests and preference, including upcoming events and top performing posts. For new users, content should be centered around “getting started” posts.
  • Searching and Sorting: Current search functionality is limited to key words and lacks any ability to sort by date or tags. Addressing more robust search/sorting functionality will be an easy adjustment that greatly benefits user experience.

  • Technical Platform: Currently the site is published externally and then pulled into the site. This presents potential limitations on design and development.
  • Scalable Design: The blog design will be applied across multiple languages and markets. It needs to be flexible and adaptable across multiple blogs.
  • Driving Engagement: Better functionality will drive user engagement and sharing, which will in turn drive further adoption of AWS products.
